Savings Calculator (PKR, INR, BDT) FAQs
How does compound interest help my savings?
Compound interest is earning interest on your interest. Over time, this snowball effect causes your savings to grow much faster than simple interest, where you only earn on your initial deposit.
Which currencies are supported?
Select PKR (Pakistani Rupee), INR (Indian Rupee) or BDT (Bangladeshi Taka) from the dropdown, plus USD, AED, SAR, EUR and GBP. Numbers are formatted using the correct regional conventions.
What does "Real Value" mean?
Real Value accounts for inflation. If you save 1 million in 10 years, it will not buy as much as 1 million today. This figure shows the purchasing power of your future savings in today's terms.
How much should I save each month?
Financial experts often recommend saving 20% of your income. However, consistency is key: even small amounts saved monthly can grow significantly over 10-20 years thanks to compounding.
Can I save or share my results?
Yes. Use the Copy Results button to copy a text summary, or Download Report to save a full projection including the year-by-year breakdown as a text file.
